Installation Process for an EV Charger in a Residential Villa

1. Receive Inquiry for Installation

• Receive an inquiry from a customer interested in installing an EV charger in their Villa.

2. Share Installation Packages

• Share information about the two installation packages with the customer:
  • Standard Visible Cabling Installation
  • Standard Hidden Cabling Installation
• Explain the details and benefits of each package as needed.

3. Set Up Meeting

• Arrange a formal meeting with the technical team and the customer.
• Coordinate schedules to ensure all relevant parties can attend.

4. Site Inspection

• Conduct an on-site inspection to evaluate the location and feasibility of the installation.
• Determine whether the electricity will be sourced from the electric room on the parking floor or from the customer's apartment.

5. Measurements and Requirements

• Take detailed measurements of the site to ensure accurate planning and installation.
• Identify any specific requirements or restrictions from the community management that need to be adhered to during the installation.

6. Send Detailed Quotation

• Prepare a detailed quotation based on the site inspection, measurements, and requirements.
• Send the quotation to the customer, outlining all costs, including:
  • Electric wiring
  • Electric safety
  • Installation and configuration of the charger
  • Any additional labor and/or enclosures required
• Include expected timelines for the completion of the work.

7. Quotation Approval

• Await the customer's approval of the quotation.
• Address any questions or concerns the customer may have regarding the quotation.

8. Set Up Installation Date

• Coordinate with the customer to set a convenient date for the installation.
• Confirm the installation date with all parties involved.

9. Installing the EV Charger

• On the scheduled date, bring the necessary equipment and designated team to install the EV charger.
• Ensure that the installation follows Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards and safety protocols.

10. Inspect and Test the Charger

• After installation, thoroughly inspect and test the EV charger to ensure it functions correctly.
• Address any issues or adjustments needed to guarantee optimal performance.

11. Demonstrate EV Charger Usage

• Provide the customer with a demonstration of how to use the EV charger.
• Supply a user manual and any additional instructions or guidelines.

12. Send the Final Invoice and Warranty

• After the installation is complete, send the final invoice to the customer.
• Include details of the installation, final costs, and any additional charges.
• Provide the customer with a warranty for the installed EV charger, outlining the terms and conditions.

13. Offer Ongoing Support

• Offer ongoing support, maintenance services, and troubleshooting assistance.
• Ensure the customer has contact information for any future needs or issues with the EV charger.
